Growth is Good: Expanding the RENEWPR Team Again
One of the reasons I founded RENEWPR was my interest in working with good people on good things. Nowhere is that more in evidence than with the RENEWPR Team, the group of experienced, independent communications professionals I partner with to help clients across the country and across the world. It’s a fantastic collection of smart, funny, creative and wildly talented people and I’m thankful every day for the opportunity to work with them.
So, it’s exciting to expand our Team again this year (see our October 2021 post for news on our last fantastic addition, Jessica Lass). My friend and former FH colleague Sarah Prud'homme is our newest member and will bring her more than 15 years of experience to the RENEWPR Team.
Sarah is a PR rock star with an impressive track record of success with a variety of non-profit and governmental clients. And she doesn’t just understand core public relations disciplines like strategy, messaging and media relations, she’s also an accomplished event planner, having served as: the director of the Cincinnati Aruna Run for the Aruna Project, an international human rights non-profit; the In-City Planner for Navy Weeks in Shreveport, La. and Dayton, Ohio; and the lead planner of The Rapides Foundation’s Youth Summit on Healthy Behaviors. And over the course of her career, she’s also worked with clients including the Alliance to Save Energy (with yours truly) and the National Park Service.
Sarah and I met in the DC office of FleishmanHillard more than a decade ago. I was always impressed with her can do attitude and her ability to deliver real results for clients while also being a delightful colleague. I’m confident our clients will be just as happy working with Sarah as I and others have been.
Here’s what Sarah shared with me about joining the Team: “I am incredibly excited about this opportunity to join the RENEWPR team and work with such talented, dedicated, and experienced communication professionals. I look forward to both the personal and professional growth that will stem from collaboration on projects for our diverse client base.”
Sarah is the second member of the RENEWPR Team from the Midwest (along with Steve Kauffman in Chicago), deepening the geographic reach of our team across the country. Our other Team members are Jayne Brady in the Northeast, Annette Larkin in DC and Jessica Lass, Darren Goode and Lowen Baumgarten in the Bay Area. Team members have collaborated (and still are, in many cases) with and on behalf of RENEWPR clients including 24/7 Solar, Bluesource, CEO Climate Dialogue, Conservation Lands Foundation, DSM North America, Family Equality, Greenwood Sustainable Infrastructure, Institute of the Americas, Itron, the National EV Charging Initiative, the National Wildlife Federation and USEA.
Each of our Team members is an independent professional with a range of their own clients. They are also committed to working with RENEWPR on behalf of our clients and projects in addition to their other work. If you’d like to know more about working with Sarah and/or anyone on the Team, please comment below or get in touch and we’ll follow-up. In the meantime, please join me in saying “Welcome” to Sarah!
